We understand that commissioning a bespoke project, big or small can be a daunting process.
We've set out how we approach each project from start to finish.
2d and 3d drawings
1. Free Consultation
A project usually starts with a conversation on the phone followed by a visit to your home. We go through some details with you and present some samples of materials and ironmongery etc.
3. 2d and 3d drawings
If you're happy with the estimate we agree a date to book your project in which is confirmed by paying a deposit of between 10% and 50% depending on the size of the project. We then move onto producing detailed 2d and 3d drawings whilst providing further samples of finishes ,materials and ironmongery . We can incorporate ironmongery and finishes into our 3d drawings which helps visualise the over look and finished piece in situ.
4. Sign Off
Once we've gone through the design process and have decided on all materials, finishes and Ironmongery we ask you sign everything off to allow us to move onto the manufacture stage.
We start making your project! We always invite our clients to come and see their project being made in the workshop.
Once we've finished building your project it then gets a finish applied to enhance and protect it. Depending on whats been chosen during the design process it could be:
An oil/wax finish
A clear spray lacquer
A painted spray lacquer to match any RAL code or popular brand of paint such as Farrow and Ball or Little Greene Company
A stained finish
We spend a lot if time putting your project together in the workshop to make sure everything works and to limit the amount of time spent on site.
